Come join us to find out the ins and outs of the interview process for compliance internships and entry level positions. A panel of experts from PWC, J.P. Morgan Chase and the Compliance Search Group, an executive search firm, will discuss the application, interview, and offer phase of a compliance/regulatory position. You will get the nuts and bolts of the recruiting process and learn how to prepare for common interview questions.
    
Daniel Akkerman’14 is a Senior Associate in the Financial Services Risk & Regulatory Advisory Practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. The practice assists financial institutions with interpreting and navigating through complex regulatory changes. Daniel is also heavily involved in J.D. recruiting for the practice and is a school lead for Brooklyn Law School campus recruiting. 

Lynn Bennett leads the J.P. Morgan Chase Compliance Leadership Development Program. In this role, Lynn is responsible for the management and execution of a program designed to develop a talent pipeline of candidates for a variety of roles within the Compliance function at J.P. Morgan Chase. Lynn works closely with the Office of Career and Professional Development at BLS to recruit and hire BLS students for summer associates and entry level compliance positions.  

Steve Tepperman was employed for almost 20 years as a Compliance professional working mainly for Prudential Securities, Gruntal & Co. and NDB Capital Markets/Deutsche bank and has worked in the financial industry for his entire career. He is currently at Compliance Search Group, an executive search firm, where he works as an executive recruiter and Marketing Director.
